Complementary feed. Not a medicine and not a replacement for veterinary advice. No CBD, no melatonin — neither is authorised in animal feed in the EU.

The problem

Does your dog hide under the bed at the first bang?

Fireworks in June and at New Year, summer thunderstorms, the car ride to the vet, hours alone at home. These situations are predictable — which is exactly why you can prepare your dog for them.

Most owners have already tried pheromones or supermarket "calming biscuits" and noticed no difference. The reason is usually the dose: retail products carry a fraction of what research uses.

Recognise any of these?

  • Hides, shakes or barks on firework nights
  • Howls or chews when left alone
  • Gets restless on trips and in the carrier
  • Reacts to visitors, building works or street noise

What is inside

Ingredients and doses

Four ingredients with different roles, in doses printed on the label — not in the small print.

L-Triptofano

3.500 mg/kg

Essential amino acid the body uses as a serotonin precursor. Dogs cannot make it — it has to come from the diet.

L-Teanina

1.800 mg/kg

An amino acid from green tea leaf, studied for its effect on alertness without sedation.

Camomila (Matricaria recutita)

1,2 % do extrato

A classic relaxation botanical, present in the European pharmacopoeia for centuries.

Passiflora (Passiflora incarnata)

0,8 % do extrato

An extract traditionally used in rest formulas, here combined with chamomile.

FAQ

About Calm

Will my dog get drowsy?

That is not what the formula is for. It contains no sedatives, no CBD and no melatonin — none of these is authorised in animal feed in the EU. The ingredients are amino acids and botanicals used to support relaxation.

How long before fireworks should I start?

We recommend 2 to 3 days before, keeping the daily dose through the period of higher agitation. For day-to-day stress, use is continuous.

Can I combine it with another Luvivo supplement?

Yes. The formulas were designed to be combinable — for example Calm with Digestion. Respect the daily dose of each.

Is it suitable for puppies?

The dose is calculated by weight and applies from 6 months of age. For pregnant bitches or animals under medication, consult your vet first.
